Our Classes

Musical Mornings

Ages 2-4 years
Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30-9:15 am or 9:30-10:15 am

Our Musical Mornings music class for ages 2-4 gives children the opportunity to hear and play instruments, compose new songs, and immerse themselves in an engaging environment that will foster musical development such as finding rhythm, demonstrating the difference between high sounds and low sounds, fast and slow, and loud and soft.

Ages 5-8 years
Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30-9:15 am or 9:30-10:15am

In our Musical Mornings music class for ages 5-8, children will further their musical journey through singing, movement activities, storytelling, and interacting with various instruments and props.  In this positive and creative environment, children will further their understanding of basic musical terms such as forte and piano, and demonstrate their knowledge by playing a variety of instruments!

Little Yogis

Ages 2-4 years, 5-8 years
Saturdays from 10:30-11:15 am or 11:30-12:15 pm

Little Yogis classes combine unique child-friendly yoga poses with songs, music, toys, stories, and yoga games. These classes foster your child’s curiosity, improve their motor skills, and help them to increase their attention span by actively participating in yoga poses.

Your child will build a foundation for a healthy and fit lifestyle while having fun! Each class includes centering, grounding, warm-up stretches, sun salutations, yoga songs, yoga games, mindfulness, breath work, relaxation, and cultural awareness through art and stories.

Make Believers

Ages 2-4 years, 5-8 years
Saturdays from 10:30-11:30 am or 12:30-1:30 pm

Let your child come and be a cowboy, dinosaur, astronaut, or princess with us. In this fun dramatic play class, your child will be exposed to early acting skills, as they act out familiar stories or create plays of their own, build props and sets, and perform for a small audience! As they pretend, they will discover their world, their place in it, and how to connect with others.

Arts & Crafts

Ages 2-4 years, 5-8 years
Saturdays from 1:30 - 2:30 pm or 3:30 - 4:30 pm
Sundays from 10:30 - 11:15 am or11:30 - 12:15 pm

Don’t have the time, space, or supplies for art activities at home? Bring them to The Goldfinch School for weekly art class, and they will create one-of-a-kind “time capsule” expressions of themselves.

French

Ages 2-4 years, 5-8 years
Sundays from 10:30 - 11:30 am or 12:30 - 1:30 pm

Children are natural sponges for language and there is no better time to introduce them to a second (or third) language than early childhood. Our immersive classes introduce children to the French language through music, movement, storytelling, drama, and art to present thematic concepts, as well as teach and reinforce key vocabulary.

“It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.”
